Employment

We have considerable expertise in all forms of labor related issues, ranging from advising and representing employers in collective disputes with employees to labor-related litigation in the Labor Courts. We also advise clients in the negotiation and drafting of employment agreements and compensation schemes and regularly handle all aspects of Social Security Law.
We also provide Immigration related services and attend to clients' needs before the Immigration authorities.

Recent work includes: advising a major international airline on various employment matters, inter alia, on implications arising from the dismissal of employees, and increase of high cost of living regulations, impact of merger with another airliner on local employment contracts; advising a global supplier of medical devices and equipments on dismissal of employees and social security laws; acting for a major banking corporation in collective dispute with employees and negotiating settlement with the latter; advising a Japanese multinational imaging and electronics company on dismissal of local business manager; review of local employees' handbook for the business services arm of an European multinational telecommunication corporation and advising it on Lebanese Employment Law; advising a Japanese multinational conglomerate on agreement with local in-house counsel.
